Overview

CloudCast ("the App") is a native macOS application developed by Glowfish LLC. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App accesses and how it is handled.

Data Collection

CloudCast does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. The App operates entirely on your device.

Cloud Credentials

To display your cloud cost data, the App requires credentials for your cloud provider accounts (Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, and/or Microsoft Azure). These credentials are:

Cloud API Calls

All communication with cloud provider APIs (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) is made directly from your device to the respective cloud provider. Glowfish LLC does not operate any intermediary servers and has no access to your cloud accounts or cost data.

License Verification

If you use the Friends & Family access feature, your Apple ID email address is checked against a list stored in Apple's CloudKit service to verify eligibility. This is the only scenario where an email address is processed, and it is used solely for access verification.

Analytics and Tracking

CloudCast does not include any analytics frameworks, tracking pixels, or telemetry. No usage data is collected or transmitted.

Third-Party Services

The App does not share any data with third parties. The only external services contacted are:

Data Storage

Cost data fetched from your cloud accounts is cached locally on your device using SwiftData. This data remains on your Mac and is not synced or uploaded anywhere.

Children's Privacy

CloudCast is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
